With more than 15 years of prefabrication and modular expertise, Josh is focused on driving schedules while capturing cost efficiencies through design and prefabricated modular execution. As Vice President, he establishes successful strategic direction for the company, working closely with top leadership to coordinate business development and the entire operations of MD+.
With over 25 years in the construction industry, Joe’s approach and experience provide focus to MD+’s commitment to total customer satisfaction. Joe drives the development and implementation of metrics in the business units and is a member of the project team. Prior to MD+, Joe has worked in the capacity of Project Development Manager overseeing the design-build operations of an ENR Top 400 national general contractor, Operations Consultant to commercial general contractors, Owners Representative, Design-Build Development Advocate as well as a Director of Construction for a commercial general contractor. His experience with large-scale projects as well as in-depth knowledge of integrated services, preconstruction management, lean construction theory and project management has allowed the added value to MD+’s entire construction process by ensuring the expectations of successful project criteria are accounted for during the preconstruction, construction and closeout process.
A professional engineer by trade, Mitchell brings over 30 years’ experience to the MD+ team and leverages his expertise in the development of residential, commercial and industrial structures from concept to completion. As the Vice President of Design and Engineering, he works with clients to properly align technology and innovation to meet their needs and reap the benefits of successful modular construction.
Hilda is our Global Technology Leader, responsible for the evolution and implementation of computational tools and workflows, immersive technologies, building information modeling, advanced building analysis and design intelligence. A licensed architect and technology leader for more than 16 years, she helps clients and project teams around the world leverage technology and intelligent data to make informed decisions early in the design process—reducing risk and maximizing the impact of investments.
Yvette brings over 20 years of experience in the architecture, engineering and construction industry to the MD+ team. She not only provides creative marketing support for the team, but she also connects with new contractor and consultant partners. Yvette’s goal is to establish lasting partnerships that lead to successful collaboration and design innovation for MD+. Her positive attitude and out-of-the-box thinking make Yvette integral to the team.
Katherine has been in the manufacturing and construction industry for over 20 years in different roles, including accounting, payroll, human resources and safety. In her position as office manager for MD+, she oversees the day-to-day activities of the team, spearheading a multitude of efforts to provide a friendly, happy and safe working environment. Katherine takes pride in her work, providing both her MD+ team members and outside clients everything they need to perform at their best. Outside of the office, she loves watching all things sports—from college football, to tennis, to NFL games.
Regional Preconstruction & National Safety Director
Melvin is our Central and East Coast Preconstruction Director, as well as the National Safety Director at MD+. Prior to becoming a member of the MD+ team, Melvin served as a Senior Project Manager and Director of Safety in the construction industry. He has been working in prefab, modular components and safety for the last eight years. In his role, Melvin helps our clients understand how prefab and modular solutions will help their projects.
Brian brings over 10 years of business development and sales experience to MD+, having worked for an array of modular and prefabrication companies. As regional preconstruction manager, Brian works in the early stages of design with organizations to explore the feasibility and benefits of a modular approach and then integrates it into the specific project.
Lee brings more than 25 years of diverse industry experience in preconstruction, estimating, design-assist, and client relations to the MD+ team. He provides early cost analysis during the design phase to ensure the client’s project stays within budget. He also works closely with the operations team to provide a seamless transition from estimating into production. Lee’s passionate curiosity allows him to bring a multifaceted approach to solving problems and targeting the greatest value for the client through modular construction technologies.
Max’s role at MD+ as a construction estimator is to gather all the required information and requirements from the construction documents to keep projects on or below budget. He leads pre-estimating meetings with clients to truly grasp their desired scope of work. By doing so, he mitigates change orders between onsite divisions and the modular manufacturer, resulting in predictable outcomes. Max has a passion for being able to provide his clients with value-engineered products that drive down costs without sacrificing quality and ensure expected schedule savings. Away from work, his hobbies include fitness, reading philosophy, and spending time with his kids.
Rob takes time to understand clients’ needs and their overall performance goals. He applies his leadership and industry knowledge across market segments while providing strategic direction to the engineering practice. He effectively manages integrated projects by encouraging multidisciplinary, high-performance design teams to solve challenges in partnership with national trade partners and leading product suppliers. Rob is nationally published in Consulting-Specifying Engineer and Engineering News-Record. He also serves on the Editorial Advisory Board for Consulting-Specifying Engineer magazine.
Bobby enjoys the intersection of planning, design, and construction. As the Architectural Project Manager for MD+, he is continually implementing new tools to improve the effectiveness of the design and the efficiency of documentation. From a planning and construction perspective, Bobby works with clients, users, and consultants to evaluate emerging technologies and modular design strategies into projects, delivering an overall better product for the user and value to the organization. His omnichannel approach and collaborative nature bring a breadth of knowledge to the team.
Jairo’s passion lies in manifesting a client’s idea into a modular solution—whether it is deconstructing an existing building design with modular components or by designing the project with only our modular components from the early conceptual stages. He takes an active role in ensuring all applicable building, energy, mechanical and plumbing codes are met, from the overall status of a building to the smallest fitting in a plumbing system. As an Architectural Coordinator at MD+, Jairo is able to provide coordinated concepts that bring all disciplines (electrical, mechanical, architectural, plumbing) from design to fabrication, to installation in order to provide the client with an unmatched modular solution.
Craig brings three decades of experience in the commercial modular manufacturing industry and an additional ten years of experience in privately-owned “site-built” construction management. His experience ranges from small modular units to multi-story complexes of 100,000 sf or more in the U.S. as well as Canada, Mexico, Libya, and other regions of Africa. Craig has worked across a multitude of building types, including hospitality, healthcare, correctional facilities and large office complexes.
Brian continually drives innovation by focusing on the process orientation of the Building Information Modeling (BIM)-enabled VDC delivery process at MD+. He has 23 years of industry experience, with the last 13 focusing on the integration of BIM and VDC to transform project delivery. A thought leader in this field, he is an advisory group member and past-chair of the AIA National Technology in Architectural Practice Knowledge Community and serves on the BIMForum committee responsible for authoring the LOD Specification.
Luis has over thirty years’ eperience as an architectural designer with demonstrated accomplishments in customer service and sales. His education and experience have given him strong insight into understanding individuals and handling technical issues as a project designer. Luis has a strong understanding of what is important not only to the business but more importantly the client.
Barry is a Fabrication Designer on the MD+ team. He assures the production team has everything they need and relays any changes to the design team. Barry has extensive experience in assembly line manufacturing and enjoys working in the modular business.
